Wide feet are not simply longer feet. When standard women's shoes squeeze the toes or forefoot, sizing up often creates heel slip without providing the width or depth needed at the pressure point.
These wide fit shoes for women use dedicated lasts from EE to 6E, giving different combinations of forefoot width, toe-box volume and instep depth. Across the collection, removable cushioned footbeds, smooth seam-free linings and a choice of structured leather, stretch or mesh uppers help accommodate different foot shapes. Shoes, trainers, boots and selected sandals are included, with each product page showing its exact fitting and construction.
More about our wide fit shoes for women
Begin with both measurements and shape. Measure the longer and wider foot, then consider where the shoe usually becomes tight. A bunion or spreading forefoot may need width and a more accommodating upper; a high instep or prescribed orthotic may require extra depth as well.
EE, EEE, 4E and 6E women's fittings
The fittings are built on separate lasts. They do not all have the same internal volume, and not every style is available in every width. The widest options generally provide more depth, but the product specification remains the best guide for an individual model.
Toe-box room, upper choice and fastening
A wide toe box provides usable space around the forefoot, while stretch and mesh panels can accommodate a more prominent area differently from leather. Laces and touch-fastening straps allow adjustment; selected sandals provide a more open alternative for suitable feet.
Removable footbeds and sole options
Every model has a removable footbed. The collection includes both rocker-style and flatter stable soles, together with different cushioning depths. If you use a custom orthotic, its bulk must still match the usable volume left after the supplied footbed is removed.
Questions we are asked
Are all these shoes extra deep?
No. They are all selected for width, but depth varies. Choose an extra-deep model when the instep, toe shape or an orthotic needs more vertical room.
Where are the sandals?
Selected sandals appear here, and the complete men's and women's range is also available in our wide fit sandals collection.
How should I measure?
Measure both feet while standing, preferably later in the day, and fit against the larger foot. Our shoe fitting guide explains the process.
If your foot shape has changed suddenly, one foot is becoming swollen, or you have reduced sensation, seek advice from a podiatrist before choosing footwear solely by width.
