Barton Stretch is a men’s orthopaedic lace-up with leather sections and flexible side panels. These give around bunions and prominent toe joints, helping to ease pressure at the sides of the forefoot. Its wide and deep 4E fitting offers room across the forefoot, while leather around the heel retains the shoe’s structure.

The interior is lined throughout with seam-free textile, including inside the stretch areas. Memory foam is held within the leather sections for softness in those parts of the upper. Loosen the laces before putting the shoes on, then adjust them for a comfortable fit over the instep.

Beneath the foot, the broad EVA sole has a firm arch region and controlled forefoot flex. Supportive 10 mm footbeds are fitted as standard. A slimmer 6 mm alternative is included for more headroom; either option can be removed for a suitable personal insert.

Brush away loose dirt gently, taking care around the stretch panels.
Wipe the leather sections with a slightly damp cloth. Keep polish off the stretch panels.

Do not soak or machine wash.

Stretch at the sides with a wide, deep fit

Barton Stretch has flexible panels at the sides and leather around the heel. The panels give around the forefoot, while the laces let you adjust the fit over the instep.

Stretch side panels
The flexible side panels can stretch around the forefoot, giving more room where toe joints are prominent. Leather around the heel provides structure, while the laces adjust the hold separately over the instep.
Wide and deep shape
The wide, deep 4E fit provides room across the forefoot and above the instep. Flexible side panels add give in the upper.
Adjustable laces
The laces fasten over the instep and open along the top of the shoe. They let you set the hold separately from the give in the side panels.
Seam-free textile lining
Barton Stretch has a seam-free textile lining, giving the interior a smooth surface. Memory foam is contained within the leather sections of the upper, adding softness around those areas.
Two removable footbed options
Supportive 10 mm insoles are fitted as standard. Swap to the supplied 6 mm alternative for more room, or use suitable personal orthotics in place of the fitted insoles. Check the fit before adjusting the laces.
Broad EVA sole
A broad EVA sole provides a firm base beneath the arch. Controlled flex towards the forefoot allows the front to bend as you step, with the same sole construction beneath the stretch upper.
