Barton is a women’s orthopaedic leather lace-up with a plain rounded front, an enclosed heel and a wide, deep 4E fitting.

The handmade calf-leather upper has a seam-free natural leather lining, with memory foam between the leather sections for a softer feel around the foot. Loosen the laces before putting the shoes on, then adjust them for a comfortable fit across the top of your foot.

A broad EVA sole stays firm beneath the arch and has controlled flex towards the front. Supportive 10 mm footbeds are fitted as standard. A slimmer 6 mm alternative is included for more room above the footbed. The footbeds lift out completely to make room for suitable personal orthotics.

Brush away loose dirt, then wipe the leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

A wide leather lace-up shoe with adjustable room

Wide and deep fit
The wide, deep 4E fit provides space across the forefoot and over the instep within an enclosed leather shoe.
Lace adjustment
Loosen the laces to open the shoes before putting them on, then adjust them for a comfortable fit across the top of your foot.
Soft calf leather
Supple calf leather forms the handmade upper, with seam-free natural leather inside. A memory-foam layer between the leather sections adds softness where the upper surrounds the foot.
Broad EVA sole
The broad EVA sole stays firm beneath the arch. Towards the forefoot it has controlled flex, allowing the front of the sole to bend as you step while the arch region remains firm.
A choice of footbeds
Barton comes fitted with supportive 10 mm insoles. A slimmer 6 mm alternative is also included, allowing you to vary the space above the footbed without changing the shoe’s length or upper.
Removable insoles
The fitted insoles lift out completely if you prefer suitable personal orthotics. Check the fit and readjust the laces with your orthotics in place.
