  • Use a soft brush around the Summit 412.20-M boot opening, then wipe the black calf leather with a damp cloth.
  • Polish the dry leather lightly, avoiding a build-up of product at the padded collar or touch-fastening edges.
  • Open both straps fully before entry so the folding front is not pulled or creased unnecessarily.
  • Check the hook-and-loop panels for fibres and store the boot with the straps resting in their natural positions.
  • Wear only one of the two supplied insoles at a time, removing it afterwards to air the boot's deeper interior.
  • Let the padded collar and leather lining ventilate between longer periods of use.
  • If the boot becomes wet, wipe away surface water and dry it slowly away from radiators, fires and heated cupboards.
  • A wearer with limited sensation should examine the foot during early use and discontinue the boot if a lasting mark or visible change is found.
